A public price is a useful reference when its date, currency, contents and seller terms are retained. Listings for a card, a bare chassis and a complete server can feature the same GPU name while describing different purchases. This process helps you read international offers and build a USD comparison before requesting a final invoice.

Starting prices for complete systems. The final cost depends on configuration, taxes, delivery and availability and is confirmed in the quotation.

1. Establish exactly what the advertised amount buys

Find the part number and sale unit: one accelerator, an NVL pair, an HGX baseboard, a barebone system, a complete node or an NVL72 rack. Support for up to eight GPUs does not mean eight cards are included. Distinguish a configurator’s starting price from the selected total. Save the cart contents or configuration export alongside its price.

Condition also matters: new, refurbished, demonstration or previously used equipment. Establish the warranty term and region, software subscription entitlement and included accessories. For example, the Supermicro configurator lists GPUs, NVLink bridges, network adapters and a required bracket separately. A server name alone does not establish that these items are included.

2. Retain the original currency and make conversion explicit

For every row, keep the original amount and currency, observation date, exchange rate and rate date. When the rate is expressed as local currency per USD, divide the original amount by that rate to obtain USD. Do not mix an inverse quotation with this formula or silently combine different dates. Round the display while retaining calculation precision.

For tenge, the National Bank’s official series provides a reproducible reference. Actual payment depends on the executing bank’s rate and fees, so a calculated USD equivalent is not a promised invoice amount. If the rate or tax basis is unknown, retain the original currency and mark it for confirmation. Do not fill the gap with a convenient assumption.

3. Bring offers to the same bill of materials

Give each item a status: included, charged separately or unconfirmed. Add documented components only, checking that shipping or licences have not been counted twice. If matching configurations requires unknown prices, present a partial comparison with open lines. A price per GPU is meaningful only across comparable packages.

4. Establish the delivery boundary and tax lines

An Incoterms term needs a named place and rules edition: these affect allocation of obligations, costs and risks. Do not assume free shipping means delivery to Kazakhstan. For example, the US Supermicro store explicitly limits delivery addresses to the United States. Confirm onward supply, packaging, insurance and unloading for the actual route.

Request separate identification of VAT or the seller’s local tax, applicable import charges and clearance services. Do not carry another country’s tax treatment into your purchase or add a universal percentage. Confirm the assessment basis and any potential tax credit with accounting and the specialist handling the particular shipment. Cash planning needs actual payment amounts and dates.

5. Retain an auditable offer record

Record the seller, link, date, SKU, quantity, original amount, tax status and offer expiry. Separate a displayed stock label from a confirmed reservation: a product page does not guarantee shipment of the required quantity. Establish the lead time after payment, permitted substitutions, return terms and warranty service location.

After normalisation, request the same equipment list, delivery to the agreed location, separate tax lines and a final payable amount. Compare written replies and preserve unresolved questions. International references help establish budget scale; the supplier’s commitments come from the specific agreed offer and transaction terms.

A useful price table preserves the source of each amount and exposes unknown costs. It does not turn an incomplete foreign listing into a complete delivered price for Kazakhstan.
